It’s never too early to think about Christmas 2019!

After a very busy Christmas, Twixmas and New Year, the first couple of weeks in January see us rearranging the store back to normal and removing all traces of Santa and his reindeers; although you can guarantee we’ll still be finding glitter in unexpected places in July!

Thoughts of Christmas (and the crooning of Michael Bublé) haven’t left Charnley’s quite yet though, as we plan for the year ahead. Yep, that’s right… Christmas 2019 is already on the agenda. This week me, Marc and Ange will be heading off to Dusseldorf to do a spot of Christmas shopping!

This is Christmas like you have never seen – and with over 14,000 products to choose from, it’s not an easy task! It is a fun one though, and they serve the most amazing coffee.

It’s a busy time for Team Charnley’s over the next few weeks – visiting trade shows and shopping. Next on the agenda, Marc and I will be travelling down to Birmingham to look at the latest sofas, furniture and interiors at the January Furniture Show.

Following that, Marc and his dad, Lou are off to Holland to visit a huge plant show to look at all things green. Then finally, Ange and I will head back down to sunny (or often snowy!) Birmingham to go to Spring Fair – the biggest home and gift show in the UK.

Spring Fair is where we top up on our Christmas buying and get lots of ideas and inspiration for the Charnley’s showroom for the year ahead. That’s if we don’t get lost and go around the NEC roundabout 10 times before we get there, which we do every year!

It’s always a very productive couple of weeks perusing and buying fantastic gifts, plants and home and interior products that will start filtering into Charnley’s over the coming months. So, watch this space and I’ll keep you updated on our progress!
